Custom Work by Sarah VandeWiele

Your Idea. Made Real.

A custom commission begins with an idea. It might come from one of Sarah's previous pieces, another jewelry concept, a theme you already have in mind, or something completely new.

How a Commission Works

Step 01

Share the Idea

Tell Sarah what you have in mind. Reference past Strange Angel work, upload inspiration, describe a theme, and include the details that matter to you.

Step 02

Review & Quote

Sarah reviews the request, determines feasibility and pricing, and follows up by email. Most inquiries receive a response within 1–3 business days.

Step 03

Made by Hand

Once accepted and the deposit is received, Sarah begins creating the piece. Production timing is determined case by case.

What to Include

The more direction you can provide, the easier it is for Sarah to understand what you are envisioning. You do not need to have every detail figured out before reaching out.

  • Concept Theme, style, symbols, colors, details, or any specific requests.
  • References Past Strange Angel pieces, photos, drawings, screenshots, Pinterest ideas, or other jewelry.
  • Linkage Chainmail linkage, standard linkage, or let Sarah recommend what works best.
  • Budget Custom inquiries begin at a minimum budget of $15.

Sizing & References

Measurements may be provided in either inches or millimeters.

  • Necklace Provide the desired length around the neck.
  • Bracelet Provide the desired wrist or bracelet length.
  • Earrings Provide the desired length and width.

Reference material is welcome as inspiration, but providing a photo, drawing, screenshot, or another artist's work does not guarantee an exact copy or reproduction.

Before You Submit.

Submitting a commission inquiry does not place an order. Every request is reviewed individually for feasibility, pricing, and production timing.

Commissioned pieces use stainless steel as the base material. Accepted commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due before the finished piece is shipped.

Standard commissions include up to three revisions. Additional revisions may be subject to additional charges. Intricate or higher-cost commissions may carry revision charges based on the complexity of the piece.

Requested completion dates are considered but are not guaranteed until Sarah has reviewed the project. Website commissions are currently available for U.S. shipping only.
